Get an external HDD that support eSATA, Firewire and Thunderbolt and Now that this is a problem, and I cannot afford to lose my data, here are my thoughts: I store the iPhoto Library in a NAS for this speciic purpose. If I would like to access my iPhoto Library from my MacBook Air, what are my options? Terence, I accessed my iPhoto Library most of the time from my MacBook Pro (15", 1.4GHz, 4GB RAM, Mac OS X 10.8.5) and I once in a while, I also do that from my MacBook Air. I realised, moving the 160GB+ is mindnumbingly slow even when my 500GB external HDD is connected to the QNAP-NAS directly via USB. Buy iPhoto Library Manager from Fatcat and rolback my iPhoto Library.Move all my iPhoto Libraries from the NAS to an external 500GB USB HDD.Thank you soooooo much! I am very grateful for your advice.
